Made of 6 oz. heavy-duty polypropylene, an 8' x 16' Blue Mesh Tarp available at PTM Tarps has been specially treated to block UV rays. While offering 73 percent shade and sun protection, this shade cloth still allows for about 27 percent of light to pass through, making it a perfect solution for garden, nursery and horticulture coverings. Our white mesh garden tarps are ideal for shielding low-light plants from overexposure to the sun. The canopy is resistant to rotting, tearing, mildew and acid. Its Arctic flexibility makes it effective even in frigid conditions. The edges are hemmed and rope-reinforced, and aluminum grommets spaced every 18 inches apart.
